2016
  • RWI has always looked ahead, creating products that suit modern lifestyles. In 2023, we launched the Advanced Rice Cooker with multifunction modes. In 2024, energy-saving industrial and standing fans showcased our commitment to sustainability. In 2025, the HealthPro Low-Sugar Rice Cooker was introduced, supporting wellness-focused households—another step in our innovation journey.
2011
  • During this period, we strengthened our brand presence and connected with more customers. A major milestone was our 2015 collaboration with leading supermarkets, where in-store Richsonic displays proudly showcased products nationwide. Marketing campaigns and events reinforced customer trust, positioning Richsonic as a preferred choice for quality home appliances.
2006
  • RWI expanded its appliance range with microwaves in 2006, then glasstop gas cookers, full-body rice cookers, and jar-type mixer grinders in 2007. Known for durability and convenience, these products quickly gained popularity. By 2010, Richsonic appliances were available in over 500 retail stores nationwide, making quality home solutions accessible to more families.
2001
  • Rich World International (RWI) started in 2001 as a small, family-run business in Colombo with just five employees. Our first product was a stylish wall clock under the RICH brand, followed by the launch of Richsonic in 2002, entering the home and kitchen appliance market. By 2005, products like pedestal fans and water filters had become household favorites, helping us reach homes across Sri Lanka.
